Your account login uses MFA for verification. You can switch between SMS text and using an authenticator application. When using an authentication app preference, you can set up a TOTP (Time-based One Time Password) application to configure 2FA. TOTP applications can be more reliable to connect outside of your sms network.
TOTP (Time-based One Time Password) applications automatically generate a 6-digit code that changes after a given amount of time. A few preferred TOTP applications are:
Change Your MFA Preference
Sign in to the Client Portal as described in Signing in to the Client Portal and navigate to Your account username at the top right corner > User Details.
Select Change MFA Preference > Select Authenticator app or SMS authentication.
The verification method dialogue box appears.
On your mobile device, open your authenticator app and select system settings to scan QR code.
The 6 digit number generator should appear, titled Rapyd - Client Portal (your email).
Note: If you selected SMS authentication you should receive an SMS message with the 6 digit number.
